Pieces of the electrolyte candy on a plate

HACCP food safety plan approved. The candy can now be made in a commercial kitchen at our designated venue, The Abyssinian, Kensington.

New from Race Camp

An electrolyte candy for long efforts

Late in a long run, sweet gels and powders can be hard to stomach. This is a prototype electrolyte candy with a clean, neutral lime flavour, made from sugar, electrolytes and lime flavouring. It comes in a bullet shape and a square, and it doesn't have a name yet.

  • Clean, neutral lime flavour
  • Hold it in your mouth, drink your own water. Nothing to mix
  • Made for runners, riders and anyone heading out for a long one
  • Two shapes on test: a bullet and a square

Launching soon, planned for Feb 2027. Price and pack details will be shared before launch. Join the crew to hear first.

How it's taking shape

From concept to format

Every shape here started as a concept. We have been working through size, thickness and cut, and it's now down to a bullet shape and a square.

One early strip, roughly 1.2 to 1.5 tablets of electrolyte load

Next to a standard effervescent electrolyte tablet, one early strip-format piece delivered roughly 1.2 to 1.5 times the electrolyte load of the average tablet from the well known brands. No glass, no fizz, no waiting for it to dissolve.

Backed by our trial nutrition panel and the labelled contents of popular tablets. The public panel will be published once the formula is finalised.

Batch by batch, getting it right

The candy is still being perfected. Every prototype batch is made by hand, and we take it on our own long runs to taste it before the next tweak.
